| Bsecure
Supplies Anti-Counterfeit Labels for Cellular Carrier |

Bsecure, a security solutions provider, formerly Pitkit
Technologies, announced it has signed a contract to supply
anti- counterfeit and anti- diversion solutions to a well-
established cellular communication carrier. Bsecure has
developed for its client a custom- tailored label that incorporates
several security measures, including tamper evidence, machine-
readable ink and other overt elements. The label will protect
both the cellular phones and their accessories, and will
prevent counterfeited and diverted devices from entering
the systems unknowingly. In addition to authenticity verification,
the label also serves as a supply chain management tool,
due to its track & trace features.
Cell phone batteries and the labels attached to them are
often diverted and counterfeited, and carriers suffer losses
when they are required to provide warranty for non-authentic
batteries. Batteries which are protected by Bsecure’s labels
can be instantly identified by service workers, who are
trained to look for overt security measures. When in doubt,
they pass the batteries through an automatic verification
process, for a high-level security check which examines
their authenticity. The tamper-evident features of the
label prevent its removal and attachment to non-authorized
batteries.
Bsecure’s label has undergone rigorous testing for quality
and reliability prior being accepted. Both the company and
its technologies have successfully passed the various inspections
that were required in the course of the bidding process.
